Turns out Netflix Turn to love Indeed, filmed in its entirety in the Republic of Mauritius, an East African island nation located in the Indian Ocean. According to The Cinemaholic, most of the scenes were filmed in the island’s coastal Belle Mare region at a five-star luxury resort called Constance Prince Maurice Resort, and viewers might be surprised to learn that even the opening scenes of the movie taking place in snowy New York City were filmed on the tropical island. In fact, these seemingly chilly scenes were shot in the island’s capital, Port Louis, with the help of a large amount of fake snow to create some wintery movie magic in New York.
Filming for Turn to love It started in October 2020 and ended only a couple of months later, in December, which is said to be the best time of year to visit the island, although it could be argued that there is no “bad” time to visit this impressive place.
