In a final physical quarter of Game 6, Joel Embiid and John Collins had to be separated after a brutal offensive foul.
Embiid knocked down an offensive board, and when it came back up, it hit Collins hard in the face. Of course, Collins didn’t like Embiid landing on him on top of all that, so he reacted with a shove. Embiid didn’t like that either, and the fact that Bring young He walked in and pushed him from behind certainly didn’t help things, even if he was just defending his teammate.
As you can see, the situation quickly escalated. And yes, hockey fans, this is a fight by NBA standards.
Embiid rightly received an offensive foul and both players were penalized with a coach.
Embiid and Collins fight in Game 6

In the end, the Sixers got the job done, holding the stretch for a 104-99 victory. The series will return to Philadelphia for Game 7.
