White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre did not respond to requests from Fox News Digital about what limits President Biden would favor on abortion, if any, amid a push by Democrats to maintain access to abortion. abortion after the reversal of Roe v. Calf.
Fox News Digital asked Jean-Pierre and his White House press team Friday afternoon: “What limits does the president want to place on abortion?” There was no answer.
Fox News’ Peter Doocy at a Friday press briefing also pressed Jean-Pierre on what limitations President Biden would find “acceptable” on abortion, after the press secretary called the abortion cap bill 15 weeks of Republican Senator Lindsey Graham as a winger.
After stating that the measure would “set us back” and “put women’s health at risk,” Jean-Pierre declined to specify the president’s position on how many weeks of pregnancy he would consider too long for an abortion.

“Why, why not go into details?” Doocy asked. “Republicans say we don’t want abortion after 15 weeks. Why can’t you say how many weeks the president thinks the limit should be?”

The press secretary continued to dodge, saying Republicans are trying to “take away the rights and freedoms of Americans. That’s what we’re calling. And that’s what we’re going to keep yelling at.”
“Why can’t you tell how many weeks…?” Doocy pressed again before Jean-Pierre moved on, leaving his question unanswered.
