Production companies T-Series and Reliance Entertainment have teamed up to produce more than 10 films in various genres.
The collaboration, which unites the production houses with an investment of approximately Rs.1 billion, will produce large-budget projects as well as medium-to-small budget “content-rich films”, according to a statement.

According to a statement from the studios, the list includes Hindi remakes of Tamil blockbusters, a biopic, a spy thriller, a courtroom drama, as well as a satirical comedy, a romantic drama and a film based on “true events.” .
The next films will be produced over the course of the next 24 to 36 months, with filmmakers Pushkar and Gayatri, Vikramjit Singh, Mangesh Hadawale, Srijit Mukherji and Sankalp Reddy, on board to direct.
Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Reliance Entertainment have worked together on the music marketing front for more than 100 films.
Kumar, president and CEO of T-Series, said the collaboration between the two studios came at the perfect time.

Shibasish Sarkar, CEO of the Reliance Entertainment group, said he looks forward to a fruitful partnership with T-Series.
“This partnership with Bhushan will surely mark the beginning of a great feat in the Indian film industry as we move forward to bring a pioneering and momentous line of films to our audience,” said Sarkar.
According to the release, the projects are in various stages of development and four to five films will have a “comfortable release on the big screen around the world, starting next year-2022.”
