Sinead O’Connor announces retirement from music: ‘I’m tired’

Sinead O’Connor is packing it up.

The Irish singer, whose rendition of Prince’s “Nothing Compares 2 U” topped the charts in 1991, took to Twitter on Saturday to announce her retirement “from touring and working in the record business.”
