Similarly, the Charitable Relief (DR) eligible for Central Government pensioners / family pensioners will be increased from the current rate of 17 percent to 28 percent of the basic pension / family pension (including additional pension / family pension ) with effect from July. 1, 2021, according to the Office Memorandum (OM) previously shared by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Claims and Pensions of the Department of Pensions and Pensioners’ Welfare.
