New electric bike launch alert! GoZero Mobility launches Skellig Lite for Rs 19,999

Electric bike manufacturer GoZero Mobility has launched Skellig Lite for electric bike lovers, especially beginners. The Skellig Lite is priced at Rs 19,999. The bike maintains a balance between product and price, the company added. Skellig series models are available on the GoZero website (www.gozeromake.fit) and various online and offline stores. The Skellig Lite can also be reserved in advance with an advance payment of Rs 2,999.

It has a range of 25 km (at the average pedaling assistance level), with a maximum speed of 25 km / h. The bike is powered by a detachable EnerDrive 210 Wh lithium battery and a 250W rear hub drive motor, and is controlled by the GoZero Drive Control 2.0 LED display unit which allows the rider to choose between three pedaling assist modes. the company added.

The battery takes a little over 2.5 hours to recharge. The Lite includes an alloy stem shank, with 26×1.95 tires, specialized V-brakes and a stiff front fork, GoZero Mobility said.

Sales of electric bikes around the world have increased over the past year, as people are reluctant to use public transportation and shared mobility due to Covid, along with the practice of social distancing, the company said.

With the launch of Skellig Lite, GoZero has taken its first step in its Switch Campaign – a kickoff with the aim of encouraging the majority of Indian city dwellers to ‘switch’ from their current mode of transport to e- bikes, the company said.

Pollution, obesity and high stress, among many other ailments, have become an inevitable parasite in the life of the urban population. As observed and studied around the world, e-bikes have been shown to have a massive impact on the health and well-being of cyclists, he added.

Speaking about the popularity of Skellig Lite, GoZero CEO Ankit Kumar said: “With the onset of the pandemic and the second wave, people have started to take Covid restrictions and their own health much more seriously than never. Electric bicycles hit the spot by offering an inexpensive means of private urban transportation that provides daily well-being and safety from Covid-related risks. ”

“Skellig Lite’s introductory price makes it easy for beginners to embrace this new mode and integrate their lifestyle. In fact, the three Skellig variants: Skellig, Skellig Lite and Skellig Pro are well received by the Indian market and sales are increasing month by month, each of which serves its target segment with their respective PSUs, “he added.
