Kanye West’s 2020 Election Loss May Lead to Another Puzzling Decision

Rapper and fashion designer Kanye West, who changed his name to Ye last year, won’t let his failed 2020 presidential campaign write him off in 2024.

The “Donda” rapper, who conceded his presidential bid after receiving roughly 60,000 votes in 2020, reportedly donated $6.8 million to his own campaign, ABC News reported.

He told Davis that he “absolutely” still had political aspirations, responding with a faith-based message.

″[2020] It was not in God’s time. I’m sure lives were saved, I’m sure God made me fall on the sword and say this is not the time, but he is a redeemer,” West said.

West also said he thinks Miami Mayor Francis Suarez (R) would also make a “very good president.”

You can watch a clip of his interview with Davis below.

The rapper previously teased that he could announce a presidential bid in 2024.

West, who conceded the day after the 2020 election, wrote “Kanye 2024” on top of a photo of himself.

The rapper hasn’t posted a tweet since hinting at a future campaign.
