There are very few shows that had more of an impact on the beauty and fashion of the 2000s than gossip Girl. To my shame, I wore a big Blair Waldorf style bow to my first big Fashion Week show in 2010. It was. serious. Now it seems that the gossip Girl reboot will have the main hair and makeup styles to help define the current generation, much like Euphoria has done for the maximalist beauty. It is the perfect time for it.
HBO Max’s gossip Girl The trailer has just been released and aside from the sexy threesomes and all kinds of drama on the steps of the Met, the cast’s hair stood out in the best light. I was concerned about the style, but so far, I am very happy with the way the characters dress a bit unrealistic and funny (as they should!) But they are not embarrassing either. It is the perfect combination of camp and realism. And the hair? We need to discuss the hair.

Let’s go over some of my favorite beauty looks to get excited for the July 8 premiere.
Julien Calloway’s haircut
The trailer begins with actress Jordan Alexander’s gorgeous face in black eyeliner, sparkly eyeshadow, and a haircut. We love to see a leading lady adopt a short hair lifestyle and look amazing doing it.
Zoya Lott’s curls
The new girl at school, played by Whitney Peak, sometimes wears her hair straight in the trailer, but these curls absolutely have me drooling.
See that flash of pastel pink? That’s actor Evan Mock. Your colorist Jackson heller at Suite Caroline Salon in New York, nicknamed the color “pearl pink.”
Monet de Haan
The Queen Bee, played by Savannah Smith, has the kind of twists women dream of. I can’t wait to see how he styles them throughout the season.
Audrey Hope bangs
Is that Jenny Humphrey? No, it’s actress Emily Alyn Lind with a higher long blonde hairstyle with bangs.
And there is much more. Go see the full trailer, above.
