Dramatic moment Putin organizes massive games near the US coast with 30 nuclear ships and submarines in warning to the West

THE RUSSIAN ARMED FORCES have staged massive war games off the US coast involving nuclear submarines.

In the chilling show of force, missiles were photographed being fired at the drills near the US state of Alaska, as Vladimir Putin’s forces suffered a humiliating setback in Ukraine.

Some 30 warships took part in exercises in the Barents and Laptev seas, an area where Russia has stationed significant military assets.

It saw the launch of Granite and Oniks missiles from the Northern Sea Route, a strategic shipping lane connecting Europe and the Pacific.

The Russian Defense Ministry said the missiles “hit a complex sea target, mimicking a detachment of simulated enemy warships, at a distance of more than four hundred kilometers.”

Fears have recently surfaced that Russia has “significantly increased” its military presence in the Arctic, with the murderous dictator seeking to control trade routes and natural resources there.

Putin has reopened Bond villain-style military bases deep within the Arctic Circle to tighten his control over the resource-rich frozen wastelands.

It comes as Russia has warned the United States that it will be drawn into a war if it arms Ukraine with better long-range missiles.

“The United States and its allies, supplying the Kyiv regime with weapons, are actually becoming accomplices in its war crimes,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

“If Washington decides to supply Kyiv with longer-range missiles, it will cross the red line and become a direct party to the conflict.

“We reserve the right to defend our territory with everything in our power.”

The warning came as Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping met on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Uzbekistan.

It was their first face-to-face meeting since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February.

The latest drills come after Russia and China launched huge war exercises involving 50,000 troops, 60 warships and 140 aircraft earlier this month.

The Russian tyrant flew to the far east of his country to witness the live-fire exercise in the Sea of Japan.

China’s contingent was led by the Type 055 destroyer Nanchang, the largest ship of its type in the Chinese navy.

Beijing committed 2,000 troops and some 300 armored vehicles, 21 fighter jets and three warships to the drills, according to Chinese media reports.

Beijing’s mouthpiece, the Global Times, said the drills marked the first time the country had sent all three branches of its military to participate in exercises with Russia.

He called the drill a “display of breadth and depth” of the two countries’ military cooperation.
