At this point, you’ve probably heard of the mess he’s in. do not worry honeyeven if you weren’t intentionally following it.
But cinematographer Matthew Libatique has denied the rumours, calling them “completely false”.
“This was probably the most harmonious set I’ve ever been on,” Matthew said about him Behind the screen podcast with Hollywood Reporter. “Olivia put together a team that believed in her and she believed in everyone on set…When I hear there are rumors of acrimony on set, I push them away. It wasn’t obvious at all.”
That said, if anything negative happened, it had to have been when he was gone. “Whatever happened, it happened long after I left and started doing something else,” Matthew added. “I never witnessed anything and felt nothing. You know, you have a feeling that something might be going on, and I didn’t feel anything.”
He maintained that it was an “extremely focused” set, crediting Olivia for putting together a great cast. “She was able to bring together like-minded people not only behind the camera, but also in front of the camera, and I really enjoyed it.”
