Andy Cohen tells E! news that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will be taking a “minute break” from filming, perhaps just long enough to get Lisa Rinna’s claws out of the franchise, as some fans are hoping. This last season of rhobh had its fair share of controversy, with debates over whether Kathy Hilton really had a “breakdown” and, if so, what was said during it. There were also issues with how the meeting was handled. A conversation started with Garcelle Beauvais about her experience of bullying from both the cast and her fans, and it kind of turned into Rinna’s recycling habits. Cohen apologized for how he handled the discussion last month. Finally, there’s the Erika Jayne of it all. Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, RHOBH it has been partially turned into a true crime documentary. Jayne still faces, along with her husband Tom Girardi, multiple legal issues. Jayne’s guilt is still being weighed in court, unlike Shah, who has pleaded guilty. In general, there is a lot going on with the Beverly Hills housewives. But is TV good? Jennifer Lawrence says no “It’s just been boring,” Lawrence said at TIFF this year. “And I think Erika is…evil?” Resting the show for a minute may be the best course of action. Let things stir with the cast before trying to make good looking TV again.
